I bought this mostly because I wanted it to work with the aftermarket setup on my bike, and to be fair, it did connect with most of the parts I already had on there. The setup just took longer than I expected, especially with the instructions being light on the little details.

Once I finally got it up and running, it worked fine overall, and the tuning options are actually useful. I did get a couple odd sensor readings at first, though, which had me going back through the wiring and checking small stuff like plugs and connections just to make sure I had not missed anything.

Overall, it is not a bad product, but I would not call it hassle free either. For the price, I expected the install and setup to be a little smoother. Three stars feels about right to me

I installed it and the throttle response was disappointing. It felt laggy and kind of weird, like the power was coming in at the wrong time instead of when I actually pressed the pedal. The timing just felt off, and it made driving more annoying than better. Not happy with it.

Am I the only one who feels like the communication could’ve been a bit better? The replies came late, but to be fair, they did eventually answer my questions.

I brought it in for a tune expecting the engine to run better, which apparently was a wildly unrealistic dream. Afterward, it was running rough and just didn’t feel right at all. Definitely not happy with the result.

The install was a total headache. It took forever, and the directions were so confusing I kept wondering if I was missing a page or something. Like, how hard is it to just write clear steps? What should’ve been a quick setup turned into way too much frustration

It did the job overall, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, the fitment wasn’t quite exact and took a little extra adjusting to get it in place. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting

I’ll be honest, dealing with dealer support was frustrating. I kept getting bounced from one person to another, and it didn’t really feel like anyone knew what was going on or wanted to take ownership of the issue.
I guess I eventually just had to accept that I wasn’t going to get much help from them, which is disappointing. I wasn’t expecting anything major, just some basic support after the sale, but it mostly felt like I was left to figure things out on my own

I tried the auto-tune for a few weeks, the bike still runs rough here and there. I kept hoping it would smooth out, but it just didn’t make much of a difference. For what it costs, I expected a lot better, really.

I bought this from Thunder-max hoping it would clean up the low-speed riding on my bike. You know... the little stumbles and rough spots that get annoying in traffic. But i can’t say it made the ride any better. If anything, it feels a little more irritating when I’m creeping along in stop-and-go traffic. Support did get back to me, but the replies were slow and felt generic. For what it costs, I was expecting at least some noticeable improvement. For me, though... I just didn’t get it

I was able to find what I needed in the end, but the navigation was a bit confusing lol. The site works, it just doesn’t feel super smooth to use.

The bike does pull a little harder after the tune, so yeah, there’s definitely some improvement. I just thought it would feel like a bigger difference for what it cost. Getting everything set up took me a bit too, not terrible, just a little more involved than I expected. Overall, it’s fine. Not bad at all, just kind of average for me...

It just took a couple days, and I had to repeat the issue more than once, which was a little annoying. Overall, not a bad experience, just could’ve been a bit faster.

I started a return and it has been dragging on forever. I’m still waiting for my refund, and the worst part is there’s no real person to talk to about it. Everything feels automated, which just makes the whole thing even more frustrating.

I bought this thinking it was going to fit my bike because the info on the site made it seem like it would. I was in a good mood when I ordered it, thinking it’d be a quick little upgrade, but after looking into it more and trying to set everything up, I found out my exact model/year isn’t actually supported.

Customer service did respond, which I appreciate, but the whole thing still ended up being frustrating and wasted time with shipping. I really wish the compatibility info was clearer before checkout so people don’t have to figure it out the hard way...
